This month's Songwriting Challenge:
Write a song about a pet (real or imaginary)
Write a song about a pet (real or imaginary)
Some of my favorite songs as a kid had to do with pets:
- Goodbye Old Paint (click here to listen to a sound clip & see lyrics): A great song about a cowboy who has to say goodbye to his horse.
- Old Blue (click here to watch a video where the dog sleeps through the whole song!): I love this song about a hunting dog who, sadly, dies in the end.
- Of course we all know B-I-N-G-O which is just pure fun!
Remember, it doesn't have to be a real pet, it can be imaginary, too!
